Let Sleeping Dogs Lie!

First let me make it very clear that I am not a morning dog. I'm a bulldog (just in case you haven't noticed) and it's in my genes to be lazy.

I have my own bed in my parents room but because I'm king of the house, I get to sleep on the big king size bed with Mommy and Daddy most of the time, and believe me, I take full advantage of the situation and spread my bullie body out across the middle of the bed, leaving very little room for my parents.

My parents wake up early to get ready for what they call "work". I'm unsure exactly what that means but I get a Budda Bone every afternoon when they get home, so I like it!

My dad is considerate and gets his things together the night before so all he has to do is get up and go in his bathroom to ge ready. He's not much of a morning person. He always closes the bedroom door leaving Mommy and me sleeping. I usually stretch out in his spot cause it's nice and warm....ahhh, I'm a lucky dog!

Mommy on the other hand....she's a whole other story. Mornings don't seem to bother her so much. She gets up, flips on the light, says, "good morning bru bear", causing me to wake up from my essential bulldog slumber. Not very considerate if you ask me.

This brings up the question, Is it even considered morning when it's still dark outside? I think not!

  1. We're total opposites here, Brutus! We're up at 4AM every single morning and breakie is served 2 hours later! We love mornings - we love the whole darn day actually!

    Love ya lots
